This privacy policy explains how Fulkar Digital Marketing Solutions Ltd, trading as weeo agency ("weeo", "we", "us"), collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit www.weeoagency.co.uk, contact us or work with us.

We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. If you have any questions, contact us at info@weeoagency.co.uk.

1. The data we collect

When you contact us or request a quote

Through our contact, website redesign and e-commerce enquiry forms we collect:

  • your name or company name
  • your email address
  • details you choose to share about your business, goals, budget, timeline and website
  • any message you write to us

When you use our website

  • Analytics data — if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects pseudonymous information such as pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at our site. See our Cookie Policy.
  • Security data — to protect our forms from spam and abuse we use Google reCAPTCHA, which processes information about your device and how you interact with the page.
  • Technical data — our hosting provider automatically processes your IP address and request details in server logs to deliver the website securely.

When you become a client

We process contact details of your team, project information, invoices and correspondence needed to deliver our services and manage our relationship.

2. How and why we use your data

Purpose Lawful basis (UK GDPR)
Replying to your enquiry and preparing a proposal Steps taken at your request before entering a contract; legitimate interests
Delivering services, invoicing and account management Performance of a contract; legal obligation (tax and accounting records)
Protecting our forms and website from spam and attacks Legitimate interests

Occasional updates about our services to existing clients Legitimate interests; you can opt out at any time

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

3. Who we share data with

We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf under contracts that require them to keep it secure:

  • Supabase — database and authentication for our website and content management system
  • Vercel — website hosting and delivery
  • Google — Google Analytics (with consent) and Google reCAPTCHA
  • Email and productivity providers we use to communicate with you
  • Our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where necessary

We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.

4. International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside the UK, for example in the European Economic Area or the United States. Where this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations, the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep data

  • Enquiries that don't lead to a project: up to 24 months after our last contact.
  • Client records: for the duration of our relationship and up to 6 years afterwards, to meet legal and tax obligations.
  • Analytics data: for the retention period configured in our Google Analytics account (2 months by default, and never more than 14 months).

After these periods data is deleted or anonymised.

6. How we protect your data

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and role-based permissions for our team, and providers with strong security practices. Only people who need access to your data to do their job can see it.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you
  • ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • ask us to delete your data
  • restrict or object to how we use it
  • data portability in certain circumstances
  • withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it (for analytics, use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer)

To exercise any of these rights, email info@weeoagency.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with the date it was last updated.
