Wholesale & warehouse software
Custom ordering, stock and picking software for food wholesalers and distributors — designed around your warehouse, your products and your 5am cut-off, not a generic template.
The problem
Phone, WhatsApp and email orders are retyped into the system — and every retype is a chance to get it wrong.
Pick lists printed in order-entry sequence send staff back and forth across the warehouse.
The screen says six cases, the shelf has two. Customers find out when the van arrives.
Without batch and best-before tracking, short-dated stock is discovered when it can only be written off.
What we build
Trade customers order online or in an app, see their prices and history, and re-order in one tap.
Real-time stock by bay and level, with goods-in, transfers and cycle counts done on the handheld.
Pick lists sorted by walking route; every line scanned so the wrong product never leaves the building.
Batch, lot and best-before captured at goods-in and enforced at picking, so the oldest stock goes first.
Load sheets, delivery notes and a driver app with routes, signatures and photos as proof of delivery.
Invoices raised from what was actually picked and delivered, synced to your accounts, with dashboards for the owner.
Who it's for
How a project runs
We spend time on your floor with pickers, drivers and the office to map how orders really flow.
A written scope for the module with the fastest payback, usually picking or online ordering.
A small group uses it on real orders; we adjust screens and rules before rolling it out.
Training on site, then ongoing support and improvements on a simple monthly plan.
Questions
No. Most clients start with one module — usually handheld picking or online ordering — connected to the accounting or ERP system they already use. We replace pieces only when it clearly pays off.
Any modern Android device. Rugged handheld scanners such as Zebra or Honeywell work best in cold rooms and busy warehouses, but we can pilot on ordinary phones with a camera scanner first.
Yes. The picking app keeps working offline and syncs as soon as the device is back in range, so a weak signal in the freezer never stops a pick.
Yes. Products can be sold by the case, the unit or by weight, with the actual weight captured at picking and carried through to the invoice.
Xero, Sage and QuickBooks are the most common. We also connect to existing ERPs, e-commerce sites and customer EDI feeds where needed.
After a discovery visit we quote a fixed price for the first phase, followed by a monthly fee for hosting, support and improvements. You own the software we build for you.
